Can I customise the size of my order?

Yes, just email us the dimensions you want to contact@s10home.com.

 

What type of walnut is it, European? American?

We use FSC-certified European walnut and oak.

 

How do extensions work? Are the extension parts removable or do they sit under the table somehow? Do they require fixing / screwdriver assembly when you use them?

For the majority of our plank (rectangular) table collections, the extension pieces are designed to be stored separately. However, our Carolina collection features an in-built storage mechanism for the extensions within the table. We can certainly customise other collections to include internal storage for the extensions, but please be aware that this will result in a bulkier and heavier metal base to accommodate the extensions. They do not require require fixing / screwdriver assembly, you can easily slide them in and out of the table.

I have a very small staircase that goes back on itself in a small townhouse. Can these tables be taken apart to get down the stairs to the dining room?

Yes, our tables and furniture are carefully packaged and arrive disassembled, with the legs and plank packaged separately in sturdy wooden boxes. This packaging method ensures the safety of the components during transportation and allows for efficient manoeuvring, particularly through narrow spaces like staircases.


Will the table stain and what can we do to prevent any staining? Any other tips to take care of it?

All our tables are covered with Rubio or Osmo oil as a protective layer. The oil serves as a barrier against stains and enhances the natural beauty of the wood. Although spills won't harm the table due to the Rubio oil, cleaning them up promptly and using cloth tablecloths, placemats, and coasters on tables when serving hot dishes to avoid any damage to the oil protection cover surface. In a few years' time, you may notice some dry areas where you can reapply for Rubio oil which can be bought on Amazon.

Shipping

What are my shipping options? 

We offer free delivery for orders over £1000 in the UK (exc. Scotland) and Germany. For other regions our delivery options vary - please see our 'Shipping Policy' page for our UK and EU delivery costs and timeframes.

How much is delivery? 
The delivery is free for order over £1000 across mainland UK. As for the other regions, please see our 'Shipping Policy' for any other region. 
How long will delivery take? 

Our delivery services vary depending on where you're based. For tables and chairs it usually takes up to 5 weeks from the date of order for the delivery to take place across mainland UK and EU.

Will all my items be delivered together? 

Yes, we deliver the whole order together. 

How can I track my order?

We'll send you photos of the made furniture and a dispatch confirmation email once your order is ready.

Can I change delivery address? 

We can attempt to change your delivery address up to the point of dispatch. Please contact our S10HOME support team with your order details as soon as possible to get your order updated.

How can I check if a furniture item will fit in my property?

Before placing your order for a furniture item, we recommend that you measure the intended space along with all access points within your property to ensure that we're able to successfully deliver your item, including entrance to the house, lift entrance if necessary, .

Order

When will I receive my order?

All our orders are made-to-order items and will be shipped within the timeframe that's stated on the product page. The lead time is 4-6 weeks from the order date. We usually deliver by-weekly on Fridays. 
You will receive an email with the photos of your furniture before dispatch and confirmation with ETA from us once your item is ready to be shipped. Our shipping partner will also contact you directly with further details on your delivery.
Due to circumstances outside of our control, the dispatch date of your made-to-order item may change. We will be in touch via email if your order is affected.

Can I cancel my order?

There is a limited window where we may be able to cancel your order prior to dispatch. If you would like to cancel your order, please contact our S10Home support team right away.

For made-to-order items like wood tables and chairs, you may cancel up to 72 hours after placing your order. After this, we will deduct a 20% cancellation fee from your refund amount.

For our UK and EU customers, please note that your statutory right to cancel under The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 is not affected - please see our terms and conditions for more information.

Please note, should you need to make any changes to your order, you will need to contact the S10HOME support team who will be able to advise you.

We recommend that you measure your space and consider access to your property ahead of ordering to ensure that we are able to deliver your item successfully.  

Can I change the material or color of my order?

We may be able to make changes to your order item up to 48 hours from the date that your order was placed.

Please note, any changes will result in a delay to your original lead time. Once the change has been confirmed, your lead time will reset from the date your new order is placed and will be reflected in your new order confirmation.

While the S10HOME support team will do their best to accommodate your change requests, it will not always be possible due to the supplier's production timeline.

EU Delivery  

Will I need to pay tax or duties on my order? 

Customers placing orders for delivery to EU destinations will be the importer of record in the EU country of destination. By placing orders for EU or US delivery, customers agree that S10HOME will pay all applicable import taxes and duties prior to the delivery of goods on behalf of the customer. There will be no further payable amount owed by the customer once the order is placed.
If you are a business customer outside the UK and need further tax-relevant information for your order, please don't hesitate to contact our contact@s10home.com.

 

Will I need to provide any any documentation to receive my order?

No, you don't need any documents to receive the order.
